Seal Rock is a small seaside village encompassing a five-mile stretch along Oregon’s scenic Pacific Coast Highway. This coastal town sits between Newport and Waldport and began as a destination for early pioneers who liked small town living. It wasn’t until 1936, when Seal Rock was connected by bridges to neighboring cities, that it became available to be enjoyed by all. Today the residents still enjoy small-town life with many activities such as shopping, pristine beaches and stunning views of the ocean.
Along the beach there are several off-shore rock formations which are home to seals, sea lions, sea birds, and other marine life. This area is perfect for day-use, with plenty of picnic tables, interesting tidepools, and sandy beaches. Residents in this area enjoy beautiful views of Hood Canal, Seal Rock, and miles of expansive beach. Many homes in this area are historic and have magnificent oceanfront views and are within walking distance to beach access.
